Our team brings together former university admissions officers, Oxford tutors, PhDs and expert counsellors, covering applications to the UK, the US and beyond. Among them are former Oxford admissions officers who have interviewed candidates and graded the LNAT, Oxford-educated mathematicians and scientists who graded the MAT, Oxford historians who helped set the History Aptitude Test, and Oxford college lecturers in modern languages. Every family begins with a consultation call, led by a senior member of our team. From there, your child works with a lead counsellor who specialises in their subject, and the whole team stays with your family until the final offer. Subjects range from Medicine and Law to Economics, Engineering and the sciences, and our team covers a wide range of subjects beyond these.

How we show results. We name only universities where a student we guided received an offer, and we keep every outcome anonymous. Our cohorts are small, so we publish no success rates: a percentage drawn from a handful of students would say more about the students than about us. Outcomes depend on the student, and no result is guaranteed.
Berndt Education started as a language school. Its founder, Denny Berndt, trained as a translator (B.A. in Technical Translation, Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal) and as a Germanist (M.A. in German Literature and Language, Texas Tech University), then worked as a doctoral researcher in Prof. Jason Rothman's psycholinguistics group at the University of Reading, co-authoring peer-reviewed research on second and third language acquisition (John Benjamins, 2017; International Journal of Bilingualism, 2017).
From German and English lessons the company grew into an education institute: live, personal teaching in languages and academic subjects, training for companies, and university admissions counselling delivered by a team that includes former admissions officers, Oxford tutors and industry experts. Today Berndt Education is based in Málaga and London with a presence in New York, and works with families and companies across Europe, the Americas and the Gulf. The idea has not changed: education opens doors, and good teaching helps open them. So we keep the numbers small, and every student has an educator who knows their name.

If your child needs more time later, further sessions can be added. Before you decide, you meet the counsellor we propose. We take a student on only when the counsellor is confident they can help.
